Whether for R & R, supplies or a respite from turbulent weather, boaters of all types occasionally need a safe harbour. We're hoping that BoatHQ.ca, your online boating community, will become a virtual ‘port in the storm’. There's no shortage of boating resources on the internet, but it seemed to us that too many of them were geared to showing you boats that were for sale, selling you services that could be provided or were poorly-designed opportunities to talk at you. We thought it would be more fun to have our own Facebook-style community, where boaters of every kind could share thoughts and resources to enhance their boating lifestyle. In the process, we believe that we can create a boating community with sufficient numbers that goods and service providers will want to speak with us, to offer real value to our community and to share their knowledge and experience with us to truly make our boating experience better. That way, we'll be more than just customers: we'll be a community of partners that maximize our knowledge and buying power. BoatHQ.ca is project of MOXY Webworks, a web services agency that has worked closely with a number of boating industry leaders developing web-based applications to allow their employees and brokers to showcase vessels online. Through that work, we recognized a need for a place where boaters could be the emphasis. Those people that actually buy, enjoy and celebrate boats. This site is for you. Join now - it's free and takes only minutes to sign-up!You can meet other boaters with similar vessels and interests, find resources and post pictures and videos. We think you'll love it. |
